I suppose that ever since I took my first photograph years ago when I was a child, I have been fascinated by the principle of photography. The fact that one can capture an image and preserve it for posterity is “magical."

As I have arrived to this point, the mystical quality of photography is now supported by the mechanics of the understanding of light and composition and the importance of film selection, among other aspects. Properly used, photography as a scientific principle must work with these elements that make photography an art form that communicates feeling and emotion, or makes a statement.
