My found object assemblages are done as a celebration of the beauty that can be found everywhere in the natural and man made environments.

The pieces I have done so far fall into two bodies of work; the Primitive Post Modern Artifacts and the Eurillian Series.

The Primitive Post Modern Artifacts are decorative and sacred tokens that might have been made by simple native inhabitants who have picked through the debris of the western world after it had crumbled and fallen.

The Eurillian Series are reconstructed artifacts of Eurilliah which is what I call a prior universe. Prior, that is, to the big bang. Going on the theory that the big bang was actually a collision of several or many universes. Eurilliah has a nostalgic pull for me and so when I find some familiar bits and pieces I try to put them back together as best I can.
